Treatment

Working in conjunction with your surgeon and GP, Body Rhythm Physiotherapy staff will be able to provide hands on treatment and guide you on your journey with a specific rehabilitation program, suited to your lifestyle factors. Our treatment will primarily focus on an exercise program, however we also provide a range of hands-on treatment options which typically consists of:

  • Muscle/soft tissue therapy – Trigger point release, myofascial release, massage
  • Dry needling/Acupuncture
  • Joint mobilisation
  • Joint manipulation
  • Taping
  • Therapeutic Ultrasound

We will also be able to provide you with your own home exercises specific to your condition. These exercises may include:

  • Range of motion exercises to gently move the affected area. This may include the use of pulleys, theraband or fitball.
  • Muscle stretches
  • Strengthening exercises for the muscles and tendons
  • Hydrotherapy program
